neta board dan hookWe are proud to announce that Dan Hook, president of CBS Field Services, has been named second vice president of the NETA board of directors.

The InterNational Electrical Testing Association, or NETA, is an ANSI-accredited standards developer. It creates and maintains standards for electrical maintenance and acceptance testing for power equipment and systems, as well as standards for the certification of electrical testing technicians. NETA members are leading electrical testing companies that advance industry standards for power system installation and maintenance to increase safety and reliability.

NETA board members serve a vital role in the organization. Their industry expertise contributes to the organization’s planning and success. NETA’s board of directors is made up of electrical safety and maintenance professionals with decades of combined experience.

Prior to being named second vice president, Hook served as the board’s secretary. He currently sits on the Standards Review Council, Membership Application Review Committee, and NETA World Journal Committee, and chairs the Technical Exam and NAMO Committees.

In his role as president of CBS Field Services, Hook focuses on trade associations, industry affiliations, corporate-level sales efforts, and the strategic growth of production divisions. He holds a master’s degree in electric power engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and maintains his professional engineer’s license in Washington, Oregon, Utah, and Arizona. He earned an MBA from Pacific Lutheran University, with a concentration in entrepreneurship and closely held businesses. He is a NETA and NICET level IV certified technician.
